The Football Black List returns this evening, 14 April 2026, at the QEII Centre in Westminster, bringing together some of the biggest names across football, business and entertainment to celebrate Black excellence and influence in the game.
This year’s event will feature Premier League stars Eberechi Eze and Alex Iwobi, Lioness Jess Carter, Manchester United CEO Omar Berrada, and Manchester City assistant coach Kolo Touré among those being recognised and celebrated.
Stormzy and former goalkeeper Shaka Hislop will both receive Keith Alexander Awards for their outstanding work off the pitch. Stormzy will be honoured for his contribution through Merky FC, while Hislop will be recognised for his work with Show Racism the Red Card.
Michelle Agyemang will be announced as the recipient of the Cyrille Regis Award following her incredible performances at the UEFA Women’s European Championship, where the Lionesses successfully defended their title.
Brighton & Hove Albion academy player Jeriah Boateng will receive the inaugural Joe Thompson Legacy Award in recognition of his resilience in overcoming racist abuse he faced at school and for going on to write a book to help other young people when they experience abuse.
The evening will be hosted by DAZN presenter Ade Oladipo and ESPN anchor Alexis Nunes, with a special live performance from House Gospel Choir.
Founded in 2008 by Leon Mann MBE and Rodney Hinds, The Football Black List continues to shine a light on the achievements and impact of Black figures across all areas of football, from players and coaches to executives, media personalities and community leaders.
