Former professional footballer and Football Black List legend Joe Thompson has recently revealed he has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for the third time.
A supporter since the very beginning, Joe has been involved with the Football Black List as a Awardee, guest or to celebrate others on many occasions.
Joe is aiming to raise £250,000 to cover the costs of his ongoing treatment and to pioneer a groundbreaking test that could prevent the recurrence of not only his cancer, but also potentially save countless lives in the future.
Joe’s family have spent a near six figure sum to self fund the treatment and work with the scientists so far and now need the support of the football community to continue with the research and treatment.
