The Football Black List proudly celebrated Black excellence across London’s football community at its first-ever Regional Celebration in the capital on Wednesday 17 December 2025 at the iconic Brixton House.
Delivered in partnership with the London Football Association and supported by The FA, the event recognised the outstanding achievements of Black individuals making a lasting impact across grassroots, community and professional football.
The London celebration formed part of the Football Black List’s growing regional programme, which shines a spotlight on those creating positive change within local communities. The series complements the annual Football Black List National Celebration, recognising Black excellence from across the UK football industry.
Hosted by renowned presenter and content creator Tyra Mills, the evening brought together football leaders, community champions and industry professionals for an inspiring celebration. Special guests included Hope Powell CBE, one of the most influential figures in the history of women’s football, and former Premier League and international manager Chris Hughton.
Football Black List Co-Founder Leon Mann said:
“We’re proud to have brought a Football Black List Regional Celebration to London. Hosting it in Brixton, at the heart of the Black community, made it even more special as we recognised the outstanding people driving positive change across the game.”
The London event followed successful regional celebrations in Liverpool and Bristol earlier in 2025, continuing the Football Black List’s commitment to recognising the talent, leadership and contribution of Black communities across football.
The Football Black List congratulates all of this year’s London honourees and thanks everyone who attended and supported the inaugural London Regional Celebration. Their dedication, leadership and commitment continue to inspire positive change while helping to shape a more inclusive future for football.
