Cheryl Armatrading is the Director of the Antoin Akpom Achievements Foundation, supporting children and young people across Leicestershire and Rutland. Inspired by her son’s legacy, she leads programmes that use skills development and mentorship to create positive pathways and a sense of belonging. The Foundation’s main objective is to help young people aspire to achieve their goals, using mentoring as a platform to guide them away from crime and the juvenile court system.
