Lola is an exceptional individual who brings a wealth of business knowledge and exemplary practice for the game. She is a consistent role model for many women and men in football and particularly shows how important it is to have black voices at the very top of the game where she is right now. She is forward-thinking, innovative, empathic, smart, pushes the boundaries and has the ability to work with all levels. She is highly trusted and respected by the owners and chair of Burnley FC. Furthermore, she is a strong advocate for women and for EDI in general. I couldn’t think of anyone better to be recognised on the Football Black List for her unswerving dedication to making football a thriving place for all.
